Supporting the audit process towards the design of Gender Equality Plans: EQUAL-IST Participatory Gender Audit Methodology
This second capacity building meeting has the main goal of supporting the audit process itself, which in the meantime has been kicked off at each RPO and will continue until the end of March approximately.
After the first capacity building meeting held in Venice on 1-2 December 2016, where project partners have mainly worked and discussed on the building blocks of the Gender Audit Methodology, the second capacity building will be the opportunity for:
- Sustaining an ongoing peer learning process, on the auditing process: highlighting opportunities and challenges/resistances at each University but also identifying how the auditing tools of D2.3 could be further adapted and improved.
- Get inputs from external experts who will join to share their knowledge and practices in promoting structural change for gender equality in research (Day 1 session 4-5:45 pm and Day 2 Sessions until 11:15 am).
- Highlight the main outcomes in terms of gender inequalities and emerging challenges to be communicated and exposed to debate through the crowdsourcing platform. Discuss the next steps from the auditing process to the crowdsourced design of Gender Equality Plans.
