On the 27th of March 2018, the training webinar “IDEALIST- Gender in ICT Research. How to address gender issues in ICT Proposals” was organised via the  Go To Meeting Platform.

The event aimed at providing ICT-H2020 National Contact Points from across the EU with knowledge and practical examples of why and how gender can be a relevant dimension in ICT research content. It was organized by Yellow Window in the framework of the Gender Action H2020 project (GENDer equality in the ERA Community to Innovate policy implementatiON. Coordination and Support Action, GA n°741466. Maria Sangiuliano, PhD Senior Gender Expert, UNIVE Partner, delivered a presentation on specific theoretical frameworks supporting the need for integrating a gender dimension within ICT research content, drawing from STS and gender studies and presenting specific examples of research projects from on line app design, to IA and Robotics, to digital social innovation projects.
