Information Day “EU Program ‘Horizon 2020’: Rules and Opportunities for Participation”

On 15th November 2018 Karazin University held the Information Day “EU Program ‘Horizon 2020’”: Rules and Opportunities for Participation” organized by: N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, the Department for Improvement of Regional Competitiveness of Kharkiv Regional State Administration, the Department of Science and Education of Kharkiv Regional State Administration, the National Coordinator of the Horizon 2020 program in Ukraine and dedicated to the discussion of promising directions of the EU largest Framework Program for Research and Innovation “Horizon 2020” that is available to Ukrainian researches, research institutions and organizations.
During the event, participants discussed the current state of the participation in various grant research and development financing programs and prospects for increasing activity in the Horizon 2020 competitions. Stella Shapoval, the National Coordinator of the Horizon 2020 contact point in Ukraine, acquainted the participants with the presentation of the project to support Ukraine’s participation in the Horizon 2020. During the Information several Day Horizon 2020 projects were presented to the audience, including EQUAL-IST project.
The presentation of Ganna Plekhanova was focused on current results of Gender Equality Plan implementation for S. Kuznets KhNUE. Special attention was paid to the benefits that the Faculty of Economic Informatics has received from the EQUAL-IST project in general and from the GEP implementation in particular.
