EQUAL-IST as SILVER SPONSOR of the STEMM Equality Congress 2018

During the 11th and 12th of October 2018, the EQUAl-IST project has participated and has been the *SILVER Sponsor*  of the 2018 STEMM Equality Congress (STEMM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine), which took place in Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

Preparation and presentation of the following posters:

“CrowdEquality – The Idea Crowdsourcing Platform facilitating co-design of tailored Gender Equality Plans” prepared by Elena Gorbacheva (see file “STEMM Equality Congress Poster CrowdEquality” and https://stemmequality.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/s38.pdf).


“The EQUAL-IST Toolkit. Good practices and inspirational examples of gender equality actions in ICT/IST research institutions” prepared by Maria Sangiuliano (see file “STEMM Equality Congress Poster Toolkit” and https://stemmequality.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/s37.pdf).


The EQUAL-IST project (“Gender Equality Plans for Information Sciences and Technology Research Institutions”) became the “Silver” sponsor of the 2018 STEMM Equality Congress (https://stemmequality.com/). Vasiliki Moumtzi (Vilabs), Dr. Maria Sangiuliano (University of Ca’ Foscari, Venezia, Italy), and Dr. Elena Gorbacheva (University of Muenster – ERCIS, Muenster, Germany) attended to the Congress. Posters about the CrowdEquality platform (https://stemmequality.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/s38.pdf) and the Toolkit (https://stemmequality.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/s37.pdf) developed within the EQUAL-IST project were prepared and presented at the Congress. Furthermore, Dr. Maria Sangiuliano presented the EQUAL-IST project and participated in one of the Congress panel sessions.
